Bathroom Remodel With Painted Cabinets and a New Vanity

Old wallpaper came down, the walls were repaired and painted, and the room got a tile floor, a double vanity and freshly painted cabinets.

Remodeled bathroom with a double vanity, gray walls and tile floor

This bathroom remodel started with tired wallpaper, patched-up drywall and bare floors. The before photos show the walls mid-repair, with the old paper torn away and new drywall patches going in around the room.

After the drywall repair was finished and sanded smooth, the walls got a clean coat of gray. The tall oak cabinets stayed, but painting them black made them look brand new. The finished room has a white tile floor, a double vanity with a marble-look top, and track lighting over the sinks.

Keeping solid cabinets and changing their color is one of the best ways to stretch a remodel budget. It gives you a whole new look without paying for all-new cabinetry.
