Yard Cleanup for Leaves, Storm Debris and Overgrowth
Leaves, fallen limbs, storm debris, weedy beds and overgrown corners cleared out and hauled off so the yard is usable again.
Some yard work doesn't fit into a weekly mow. Leaves that blanket the lawn in fall, limbs scattered after a summer thunderstorm, flower beds lost to weeds, or a back corner that's slowly been taken over by vines. A yard cleanup takes care of all of it at once and gets your yard back to a place you can maintain.
What a cleanup can include
- Raking and blowing leaves from lawns, beds, patios and fence lines
- Picking up fallen limbs, sticks and pine cones
- Clearing weeds and old growth from flower beds
- Cutting back overgrown brush, vines and saplings
- Edging beds and walkways
- Spreading fresh mulch or pine straw
- Hauling off debris
You don't have to pick from a menu. Tell us what's bugging you about the yard and we'll suggest what makes sense to tackle first.
Seasonal cleanups
Spring. Clear winter debris, pull weeds before they take over, cut back dead growth, and refresh mulch or pine straw. Pine pollen season is a good time to blow off porches and walks.
Fall. Leaves are the big job. Leaving a thick layer on the lawn blocks sunlight and can smother grass. We clear them from the lawn and beds. Our guide on fall leaf cleanup explains timing and what to do with the leaves.
After a storm
Heavy summer storms roll through west Georgia regularly, and they can leave limbs, branches and debris all over a yard. We clear what's on the ground during our normal weekday hours.
Some storm damage needs other pros:
- Trees or limbs on power lines: Stay away and call the power company.
- Trees on the house or roof: Call a tree service, then a roofer if needed.
- Large trunks and hanging limbs: A tree service has the climbing gear and insurance for that work.
Our guide on storm prep and cleanup covers what to do before and after.
Overgrown yards and properties
Overgrown yards are common with rentals between tenants, houses that sat empty, or when life just got busy. We cut it back, clear out debris, and get the yard ready for regular lawn mowing. If there's a garage or shed to empty too, we handle cleanouts and haul-off as well, so it can all happen in one job.
Drainage while we're there
Red clay doesn't drain well, and debris piled in low spots can make puddles worse. If we notice standing water or washouts, we'll point it out. Our guide on yard drainage and red clay has some ideas.

Common questions
Do you haul off the leaves and debris?
Yes. We can haul it off, or pile it at the curb if your town picks up yard waste. We'll go over the options in the estimate.
Can you clean up after a storm?
Yes, we clear fallen limbs, brush and debris during our regular weekday hours. Trees on houses, power lines or large trunks need a tree service or the power company.
Do you cut down trees?
No. We handle limbs and brush on the ground and small saplings. Large tree removal and climbing work is for a tree service.
Can you clean up a yard that's really overgrown?
Yes. Overgrown yards, vacant lots and rental properties are common cleanup jobs. We cut back the growth, clear debris and get it ready for regular mowing.
